Sue Hardy.JPG

Sue Hardy is a figurative artist working from her studio in North Dorset, UK.

She has developed her drawing skills over many years, inspired by her interest in animals and people; looking to capture their unique character & emotion.

She also enjoys landscape painting & has a great love of the countryside, particularly that in the south west of England.

Working mainly in pastel & charcoal, but also oil, watercolour, and pen & wash, her work has impressionist qualities, depicting light & shadow either in monochrome or with a harmonised pallette.

She has exhibited in regional private galleries, the Mall Galleries & with The Society of Graphic Fine Art to which she was elected an associate member in 2018.
